Hello Guest,
Terminex is a powerful sanitiser based on chlorine dioxide, designed for use in food processing premises. It can be used both as a ‘break the cycle’ sanitiser and problem solver for areas showing persistently high micro counts, and for applying directly to different foodstuffs as an antimicrobial agent.
Features:
* Broad spectrum effectiveness
* No pre-mixing of components required – simply dilute and use
* Tested to give an average >6 log reduction within 30 seconds on Campylobacter jejuni, Escherichia coli, Lactobacillus casei, Listeria monocytogenes and Salmonella menston. This is when used at 0.5% v/v
* Will actively attack and break down bio-films.
* Ultimately degrades to sodium chloride (salt).
Benefits:
* Effective against bacteria, spores, viruses, mould and fungi at economical use rates
* Easy and safe to store, dilute and use. Not classified as Dangerous Goods
* Will not form films or residue on surfaces and is non-corrosive at in-use rates
* Non foaming – can be used for small scale CIP sanitising
* Extremely quick and lethal mode of action, yet safe to use
* Has a proven track-record of solving problems and eliminating bio-films that other commonly used sanitisers, such as QAC and chlorine cannot
* Great for use as a ‘break the cycle’ sanitiser where QAC is routinely used.
* Useful for application as an antimicrobial processing aid on certain foodstuffs, where a quick reduction in microbes is needed but residual effect is not required.
