DEEP BLUE is a highly concentrated Benzalkonioum chloride (QAC) based sanitiser which also contains wetting and foam boosting agents and sequestrants. As its name suggests, it is a dark purple-blue in colour.

Features:

• Contains 300,000 ppm QAC in undiluted form.
• Broad range of efficacy.
• Near neutral pH in RTU form.
• Exhibits residual activity once applied.
• Has detergent properties and can be used in areas of medium-hard water.

Benefits:

• Can be used in most food processing applications.
• Very economical sanitation, due to its concentrated form. Can be diluted up to 1:1,500 for general equipment sanitation.
• Stable and non-corrosive.
• Excellent penetration, especially on porous surfaces.
• Easily and accurately dispensed.
• Blue colour show visual presence of sanitiser in footbath applications.
• Concentrated nature saves on storage, freight and packaging.

Directions for use:

• Ensure all pre-cleaned surfaces are rinsed thoroughly.
• For floors, panel walls, benches etc, add 15mls of DEEP BLUE TO 10 ltrs of water (450 ppm available QAC).
• For porous surfaces such as plastic chopping boards, rubber belts or concrete walls, or to deodorize waste bins, add 30mls of DEEP BLUE to 10 ltrs of water (900 ppm available QAC).
• To treat footbaths, add 3 mls of DEEP BLUE per ltr of water (900 ppm available QAC).
• Food contact surfaces must be thoroughly rinsed with potable water prior to reuse.
• DEEP BLUE can be applied through a low pressure sprayer or through foaming equipment. Because of the concentrated nature of DEEP BLUE, ensure it has fully dispersed in water before applying.
• CAUTION: Detergents containing anionic surfactants will neutralise the sanitising ability of DEEP BLUE. Ensure these are rinsed away thoroughly before applying sanitiser.
