These wipes are ideal for sanitising surfaces quickly and effectively, with the evaporating solution leaving surfaces dry and ready to use in a very short time. Ideal for food industry, especially in applications where you want to keep moisture to a minimum. Using a wipe to apply 70-30 ethanol blend ensures good coverage, better physical agitation and makes soil removed easily visible. The two main benefits of impregnated wipes versus a dry wipe and Ethasan in a spray bottle are:
* Each wipe is wet to the same consistency, not too much so it takes longer to dry or not enough which does not sanitise adequately. Some of our customers stipulate 1 wipe per square metre which is a good rule of thumb that everyone can relate to. The net effect of this is that you get far more consistent micro results than with a spray and wipe application.
* As these will often be used in areas where you prefer to keep moisture to a minimum, these will be better than a spray bottle as there is no atomisation of product caused by spraying liquid around.
There are a range of benefits over cannister style wipes such as:
* Cut sheet wipe vs perforated – this means you have no lint from the perforations to cause foreign matter issues
* Convenient pack size to carry around. 88% less packaging is not only less to carry but less to dispose of by weight/size, and these empty packs can be sent back to us for recycling if required
* Slightly larger and thicker wipe than with common cannister wipes, gives more area to be wiped before disposal
* Halal approved to aid with audit compliance – see here for Halal certificate
* Better pack seal to prevent wipes drying out
You will find on the Resources tab the safety data sheet, the MPI Dairy recognition approval, the MPI Animal Products approval and the Halal Certificate.
Please note: We currently have several years stock of our wipe packaging for this product. This is a large stock holding which is the result of the 2020 Covid Pandemic, however we wanted to ensure our customers would have security of supply. Since this stock purchase we have made the change to denaturing our ethanol with TBA (tertiary butyl alcohol) instead of methanol. Our current wipe packaging has methanol in the content’s information. TBA being a non-hazardous denaturant means it does not need to be declared on the packaging/SDS. We do not want to cross this out with a permanent marker as it has the potential to be rubbed off. After feedback from our customers, we will leave the packets unchanged with methanol being part of the contents. We will change this permanently when our next shipment of packets is ordered. Rest assured though that the wipes contain ethanol denatured with TBA rather than methanol.
